went to a little vinyl party this past weekend at Welcome to 1979 studios. really interesting place. a former record pressing plant... 38,000 square feet. now it's a studio... or at least 4,000 square feet of it. which is really weird, and kind of cool. was a very interesting place... lots of cool people and a good time. i was pretty tired and happy with a dogfishhead ale and my reggae spinning on the stereo, so i decided to sit down and paint something at the art table (they set it up for the party).
